Whats your favorite time of day to scout?

during the offseason, do you prefer to scout at any particular time of the day?? first light? midday? afternoon? if so, what is your reasoning. Pat

I pretty much always scout in the afternoon. No particular reason other than that is when I seem to have the most time available.

Saturday mornings is my dedicated outdoor time. The family sleeps in and I hit the woods.

Anytime I have free time. I like midday most because there aren't as many shadows and I can see rubs, beds, and other deer sign better at a distance.

I usually time my scouts, so when im done it close to sundown so I can go shining. I travel to all my spots so not many morning for me.
