Nice scouting trip red beard. As far as getting in quiet I like to use Dan's advice and take your time, go extra slow. If I have 5-6 hours to hunt it might take me half that time to get in and get setup. The last 200 yards to my set I slow it down a lot, the last 100 are twice as slow and as quiet as possible.
