Dan, transfered your pics for potential bedding areas into my Gps and checked them out Sunday.
Here is what I think is his secondary bedding area which is only about 50 yards from the rubs.
I did find a few more rubs from him also
Here is his primary bedding area it is a perfect bed for him just not so perfect to hunt ,proably 2oo yards from his staging area but exactly where Dan said it would be .Like i said It was programed into my GPS and about 10 seconds after my proximitry alarm went off he jumped from the bed .
His bed, the ground is pushed back forming a wall behind him
His bed with rub right in bed
His bed is on a very small island(15'x15') completely surrounded by cattails and water,he has 4 trails leaving his bed and he actually has 3 seperate beds on this island His primary is the one in the pics and another faceing North and another facing West.
Thanks Dan (Big and High Rubs Update)

Awesome... Glad it worked out for you. Now the hard part. Figuring out how to kill him in that spot.

Your right, now is the hard part.I really wanta get on this buck,I got a good feeling about him. If there only was a tree a little closer to kill'em out of.I,m a afraid by the time he would get to me it would be past shooting time.Mabey i gotta go with the prevailing NW wind and hope he hits the small staging area NW of his bed.

Could you set up on him from the ground?

You mean Water right? I was hoping noone would say that ,cause I,m thinking that,s the only way i might see this deer in daylight.I,ll have to take what I can get though. It would be pretty awesome to take him from the ground.I almost took down a 12 pt. last year from the ground ,that was unforgettable.

You might be able to get him where he 1st exits the water. They tend to keep moving once in the cattails (unless there is dogwood they browse on dogwood) and stage when they hit dry land... That distance might put it close to dark when he gets there. But I think its doable.
