Re: Catch of the Day!
Walked across the street to a cove behind my house. Didn’t catch many but the ones I caught were good size. Sorry weather all this week. Tomorrows high is 30 with good chance of snow. Not good for my spring fishing. It’s ok…. Next week is looking like it’s gonna be sweet!

Easy pickens today. I hit it just right! The calm right b4 a big storm. Got my limit of 25 in about an hour. No longer made it to the truck and it started to downpour.

Re: Catch of the Day!
Caught a big ole bass yesterday! Guessing 6-6.5lbs. Using a 10’ ultralight rod, fly reel, and 4lb test line. Was a heck of a battle

Re: Catch of the Day!
Had one storm after the next come through today with 40mph winds. I waited til noon when the last storm passed and decided to try for some channel catfish. Still a tad bit early but I still had fun and managed to catch some.

Re: Catch of the Day!
Took my new telescopic cane pole in pursuit of some channel cats today. It was fun! That 14’ fiberglass rod makes a 2 pounder feel like a whale. Very simple, fun way to whack em. Got my 25 pretty quick then did some catch and release for another hour or so. Crappie are done spawning but the cats just started. I’m a equal opportunist…….
