6/30 Fred Durst And I Fishing For Brook Trout

Unread postby LenH » Fri Jul 01, 2011 4:59 am

Fred had never caught a brook trout so I treated him to about 30 brookies in one of my tiniest brook trout streams.
We sized down our gear and we were fishing a stream no more than 3 feet across in most areas. We came upon a
downed tree across the water and there was a deep cut out under it. First cast and this is what Fred caught.

We fished for a little longer and stopped due to warm weather/water.
Fred scored about 30 with the vast majority brook trout plus this XL brown.
I batted clean up and landed 18.

Awesome!

When I saw this post I thought to myself, "Is Len H now hanging with Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit?"

Looks like it's another Fred Durst.

That's a good clear pic. Amazing how a small clean stream like that can hold such awesome trout given good conditions.

A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Whew! I'm glad Spysar posted a music video and not Fred Durst's "other" video.
