This young man won the annual opening day biggest trout contest sponsored by local Gays Mills businesses. The trout measured 28 inches and 11 pounds. It was caught on a worm below a bobber at the Gays Mills Dam on the Kickapoo River. There were many witnesses and quite the cheering section by the time the kid landed it. I will post later what the kid's name was.
