Need your trout itch scratched?

For those of you that need their trout fishing itch scratched and the big lakes have not satisfied you...Devil's Lake State Park may be the ticket for you.

The park is opened for trout fishing and NOW is the time to go after those huge browns.

The link above is where you need to go. The photo on the top shows the boat landing and a shelter.

Fish the shallows near the boat landing and the deeper water near the big rocks.

The last time I was there three years ago at this time I saw angler having success with minnows below slip bobbers and guys in float tube kicking some serious tail with clousers and bunny leeches.

If the older gentleman is there sitting on a white 5 gallon pail ask him to see in his bucket.

The trout are very active this time of year and it is a real rush to get a hold of some of the monster browns there. Make sure you check the regs before you go and enjoy your fresh brown trout dinner!
