A Father's Day Wish

My Father's Day wish is:

All you outdoorsy folks out there please when you consider a gift to give to a young loved one...please give them a nice rod and reel instead of that cellphone or computer game. Along with that rod and reel promise them that you will take them fishing.

Thanks for sharing that story Len, it really hits home and also shed a few tears. Father's Day is hard for those of us that lost ours but no better time to honor their memories and what they did to get us involved in the outdoors. I will be out fishing which was our yearly tradition on Father's Day and sure Dad will be looking over me.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Nice read...made me think of my grandfather, he passed too soon as well at 69 and we had some great memories fishing together.
