Went out on Saturday morning for about an hour and a half. We got some rain on Friday night so I was hoping for some good fishing.
I decided I would start off with a peeking caddis and us one of the Lively legs grey squirrel as an anchor fly.
the flies all the way to the right, and centered
I hit up my honey hole wich is at a confluence of 2 streams. THe one stream was pretty stained and the other was just green.
It was cool because it gave me a good idea of where the feeding lies were and such.
I nailed fish from the first cast on. I tried to snag pictures of as many as I could. I was really skeptical of this product at first. But after fishing with it for a few outings, I feel that it will be on a lot of my nymphs in the future. I don't think that the legs move all of that much in the water, but when combined with a "buggy" fur like squirrel or hares mask dubbing, they shine pretty well.
Here are some of the pics from the morning. Pretty much boring stockies, but just wanted to show you guys how well these are working for me.
That poor guy looks like someone before caught him on a musky lure.
Definitely worth trying out in my opinion. I really like that this product is made in PA,

I throw them all back, but if I were to eat them it would be wrapped in foil and put on the grill, salt, pepper, tomatoes and olives stuffed in side the fish. Maybe an onion on top.
This stream is less than a mile from my house and with my crazy schedule any more it is better to just let them go so I can catch them again.
