A few nice trout this morning...
I went out for the fishing opener here in WI this morning on a nice small local stream and landed a 12 inch brown and this nice 15 incher on a hare's ear nymph with the fly rod. Action died out toward midday.
The cave you fear hides the treasure you seek!!!

nice ....seen a bunch of guys and gals out this weekend wile over in western Wisconsin. every bridge were the Kickapoo river crossed, there was at least 3-5 cars parked. people were lined up on the banks!
I used to do it when I was younger but it faded as the interest of turkey hunting kick in fast:lol:

That would be a question for LenH. I know the DNR does do some stocking, but not sure how they go about it. I think that 15 incher I caught was a wild fish though.

the stocking all depends on which fish manager is in the area. they decide what is stocked and if any at all.
