Looks like Rainbow trout and maybe some catfish in there ??
For the trout, Small Rooster Tail spinner. Purple & white worked good for me. Cast and retrieve steady. Try to get close to downed logs or other cover such as rocks.

With a regular rod, Panther martin spinner where the rapids meets the pool, or cast a hare's ear nymph or green emerger up into the rapids and let it flow into the pool with a fly rod. Then drag in the line in slow if nothing hits right away. I love fishing spots like you have in the pic. Trout like to lay in those rapids and feed off bugs and stuff that come down into the pool.

I use nothing Trout Magnets and it looks like a good spot. Throw it upstream and let it drift naturally through the pool. Keep the jig 6-12" above the bottom of the hole.

If there are carp in there.... I would fish it with a buddy that has a video recorder running and catch it with my hands out of the cattails!! :lol:
