Nearly Impossible Scenario
The board in the middle bottom.
There is a giant brown laying under it.
I had no filter for my camera and the snow and sun wouldn't allow me to photograph it.
You will just have to take my word for it.
How would you fish this near impossible scenario???
And if you got it on....HOW would you land it?
Photo is taken upstream.

Re: How Would You Fish This?
I am no trout fisherman but....what about standing where the pic was taken and flip a peice of worm on a hook with a small split shot. Try and let the current take it down stream.
I assume the fish is situated to look up stream and should see the bait drift pass it's nose.
Once hooked would it run to the deeper hole to the right? Either your going to have to horse em over that log or or stuck.
Want to borrow one of my musky rods to pop him up all the way to shore?

Re: How Would You Fish This?
Staying extremely low I would creep ip on the right just above the log that holds the board up. Float the bait under the log and board. Once hooked up I would get in the water and fight him toward me upstream. Stout line and rod would help. I love trout fishing!

low crawl and fish it from upstream on your stomach with a night crawler of big bunny leech.
tease it in to coming out. Stout rod and line and HORSE it out of there on hook up.
