Castle Rock with the AMS crew

Heading up to Castle Rock tonite to shoot with AMS for a show episode, hopefully the carp will cooperate, Matt (AMS) scouted it over the weekend and filled the barrels in just a couple of hours.

I was just down that way shooting from shore along the petenwell. Hopefully you guys have better luck! Be sure to post the episode in the youtube section for us!

Had a great night! Filled 3 barrells in less than 2 hours! Big commons, some had bellies already and most were in the 10 lbs. range, had a couple pushing 20lbs... Awesome night to be on the water! Had one mionor mishap, Shane my cameraman was shooting my new Fire Eagle and while attempting to shoot a nice carp the string broke

, don't know if he dry fired it or the string was just bad, but luckily we had a back-up Fishhawk and were able to keep shooting.

The episode should air mid May and I will definately post it up after it airs.

I also want to give a big thanks to Matt Schillenger and his nephew Derrick for having us on the boat and putting us on the fish. You won't find more hospitable hosts anywhere and I hope Jeff and Cindy know how lucky they are to have such a great staff! 8-)
