blood bath on sinnissippi

Unread postby knd2970 » Sun May 30, 2010 2:40 pm

Me and my buddy's were bowfishing on lake sinnissippi. We had a great day with 40 fish in 5 hours. Most fish in the 15 lbs range. Pics will come, we are going out in the morning again.

That is awesome. I have never been bowfishing but it is definitely on the to do list before I kick the bucket. One of these days I will buy a bowfishing rig and Lord willing make it to Carp Fest :D

Yes, You should come. I will bring a extra right hand setup if someone needs it. Here are a few more pics from the weekend. I would say we ended up with over 150 fish for the 3 day weekend. And a friends garden that can't hold another carp. I urge you if you have a jon boat to go check this lake out. There are 1000's n 1000's of carp in it. We must of lost at least 50 carp from pull offs.

It's hard to believe they poisoned the Horicon Marsh down the Rock River about 10 years ago to kill all of the carp.
I remember they all ended up floating into Sinnissippi creating a huge stinky mess in spring. Looks like they are back worse than ever.
