Well I had been keeping my eyes open for a bateau to make me a bow fishing boat. Hadn't come across one so I threw this together on my skiff. 4 500w Halogen lights from lowes and some 3/4" plywood and we are in business! Took my friend Mark and we went out in Cote Blanche Bay last night. The water was muddy so we didn't see many fish. I lost a big catfish about 10 pounds. We ended up with a few gar and 4 catfish. Going to make a trip to the basin as soon as I can...

Re: Bow Fishing Rig
looks good. I've always wanted to try bow fishing. Do you run your lights off a generator or just pack in a bunch of batteries?

Run them off a generator. Those are 500 watts each so I brought my 5,500 watt generator. Man that thing is noisy lol
