Tomorrow!

If the wind holds up, I'm going to do my best to have a Michigan Public Land Beast encounter a Muzzy Moment tomorrow! I have the day off work and a perfect predicted wind direction... we all know how that can change, but here's hoping! The wind will take my scent just off of his favorite and most secure bed... the predicted direction will likely have him using this bed over the numerous others he has in the area. My set up is very close to the bed, and stealth will be mandatory.

There are a number of decent bucks in this area, I'm really hoping at least one of them has taken up residency in this bed tomorrow... but I'm really hoping for an encounter with the beast of the region, can't deny it. His rubs are exceptionally tall, a real survivor on heavy pressure public land.

A perfect wind, overcast and a chance of a light, spitting rain... The moon will be underfoot... Bring it on!

Good luck SB! I will be in a tree tomorrow but I have to pickup the kids at daycare first so there will be no time to hunt a bedding area. Just going to hop in the woods quick and hope for a doe.
