Typically about 45-minutes is the usual. I once did a three-hour drive, but it was a last-ditch effort. It paid off with a big Pope & Young bear!

When I am out of state on my hunting vacation my closest spot is 5 mins away. My furthest spot is close to an hour away with a 1/2 hour boat ride on top of that.

My camp last year was 28 miles from my front door!! It don't get any better than that!!
