I was hunting on National Forest land on Saturday.

Came back to find this on my window.

What's funny is that I won't hunt that spot again this year, so the guy probably thinks his little note worked.

Agreed. Don't hunt public if you can't handle the public

It's worse!

He left his phone number to call him (yeah, right) signed as -- get this -- CHOPPER.

So that note in the pic was signed CHOP.

 True.

I should thank them for hunting it so I could pattern the hunters and find the pocket of overlooked and a terrific encounter with a good buck.

Already chucked the other sticky note.

But dragging a buck out of there would have been twice as sweet.

Do my walking, find what I need, as I get out of the thick stuff, I see a guy at my truck. Proceeds to tell me that he’s been hunting there for 17 years and to leave his spots alone.(That piece alone is just shy of 600 ac) When I ask his name, he said that it doesn’t matter. And when I asked him if he was the one leaving all the empty beer cans and bottles out there he got furious..... maybe I did find his spots!
Be nice gentlemen, we all own the public and we can all get along.
Now I want to hunt this area even more.

I like it.

Lol I’m w greenhorn Dave on this one! Hunt it hard till it’s burnt out I doubt that loser has the stones to go find where they went and I’d bet a paycheck that you already know where they will head to!

I'd go back in a different vehicle with a .22. and do a bunch of shooting all over the area, pretending to be a squirrel hunter. ;)

Personally have never ran into near the probs hunting as I have fishing. U get under one of these high class folks boat docks in a inner tube and stuff gets heated quick. For some reason they believe they own the lake and cuss u like a dog. I typically reply kindly and ask if they like pecans or pistachios. Then instruct em to jump in an try a mouth full of deez nutz. Hunters seem to be more respectful in my parts. But then again have ran into a few knuckle heads who didn’t realize what kinda damage a ticked off redneck with a enormous amount of free time can do. Stick it to em!
