Hi everyone, my wife and I Drew a Kansas whitetail tag for this coming December. I have never been out there and was reaching out for any possible tips. We each have a tag in units 7 & 8 and we will be hunting public and WIHA.
Any help or Insight would be appreciated.....
BTW we are really excited!!

At least a week. I can extend the trip if necessary.

Good luck! Kansas can be great, but not what it used to be! Dress warm and be ready for lots of wind if going in December.

Re: I Drew a Kansas tag
Congrats! I will be hunting KS for the first time this year and hopefully many years to follow. Check out the walk in hunting areas and knock on some doors while your there. Alot of the places I hunt are all open country with timber around creeks and draws. The rest is all ag fields. Good luck!
