Northwest Florida panhandle Wma’s

Unread postby laughlin » Sun Oct 21, 2018 11:30 am

Is there any guys here who hunt any wma’s in the panhandle of Florida, such as Choctawhatchee wma, point Washington wma, or pine log?

I hunt WMA's way to the south of you in the Tampa area. I'm hoping to bring the jon boat up to the panhandle in the future to take advantage of the late season in your area. Good luck this season.

 I do! I hunt Blackwater, Yellow River, and Eglin when I’m home on leave. Pleased to make your acquaintance. Good luck this season! I’m on the way home now for my first time during bow season in 6 years!

My buddy just shot a nice 11pt buck in Aucilla. I scouted point Washington last season pretty disappointed in the sign. I'm a central Fl guy that travels north as well. I hunted Tate's either 4 or 5 years ago. Shot a pig. Hunted Wakulla the year before and had encounters with three different good bucks, but couldn't seal the deal on any of them.
