2018 Hit list

Unread postby cmbrown337 » Mon Jul 09, 2018 12:53 am

Anyone got any trail cam pics of nice bucks on public land yet? I have a handful of cameras up but am letting them soak until the end of August/beginning of September.

Just thought it would be interesting to see what everyone will be pursuing on public land this year.

Can’t see em too well but that’s a 3-4YO 9pt as of early July. Not at the top of the hit list but this was the only camera I wanted to check. Rest are near bedding areas and will be pulled on the way to the stand...

This cam was placed in an area that I felt a decent buck was roaming but never got a chance to scout.

Nice bucks guys.

I am really interested to see if this buck shows up. He isnt from public land bc I really try not to focus on one deer for public hunting. I shot this deer 2 years ago in Nov, low hit and he survived. Then he shows up Halloween after I tagged out. Rifle season was really quiet for shots so im hoping he is alive.

This deer however is from public. Never seen him, only his tracks and beds... I only get to hunt him opening week. The only reason im focusing on him is bc his tracks and beds are the biggest iv ever found and the only time I hunted him I was rained out. Just went and scouted his area last week and didnt find his tracks yet... His name is GSB

I don't develop any kind of hit list but I have one good buck so far and a couple cams I have not checked yet. Not going to bother posting pics because ones I posted in recent previous threads I cannot see anymore. Seems like bucks are a little behind schedule here compared to previous years.
Some do. Some don't. I just might...

I have 1 on the hit list so far. Hopefully I can add another one or two before opening day.

Those pics are making me sick!

I got three cameras and can not get a day off for about 2 weeks at least.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

I've got some good ones on cam, here at home. But since no cams are allowed on MO public, I'll just slobber over yalls pics! :violin:
