Hello Everyone,
Me and a friend are from Southern Indiana. We are heading across state line to KY to do some public land deer hunting. Does anyone have any suggestions for us heading over to KY on public land? Any starting points or general areas would be awesome.
Thanks for help in advance.
Josh

Re: Kentucky Public Land Deer Hunting
I hunted Kentucky for the first time last year...not the last... we loved it.
We were in the Daniel Boone Forest west of London.
5 of us and we got 2- 8 pointers and a spike for the youngest.
I held back on a small buck.
Plenty of land and the pressure wasn't the worst.
The people were great everywhere we went.

Dbnf is a good place to start tons of open land and most of it's pretty rugged hunting if you go early season wear snakeproof boots rattlers are all over the place

Lol dbnf goes from one end of the state to the other, so odds of somebody finding where I'm at are slim
