Tomorrow's WI gun opener is supposed to be rain/snow. I hope to see something.

Nice buck Scott! I'm glad you posted a picture. Regardless of size you were happy with him and pulled the hammer. I respect that a of a lot more than apologizing for it. I'm prions of him and I'm sure you are too. Congrats my friend.

Right on- if I say I'm going deck a buck I stick to my plan... which was whichever of the three showed up first. The big 10 had a lucky day.

Congrats SB! Nice buck and I respect your dedication. I skopped opening morning (like a wuss) and then missed an opportunity at a decent 8pt around 4pm (in the rain) because I was sitting on the ground in a new spot and he came in from behind me quickly. Pulled the gun up an scope was fogged!! I guess that was my punishment for skipping opening morning (never have done that before)

Live and learn. But the rain won't keep me out of the woods when it happens again.

Thanks- I'll be honest, even with rain gear it was miserable. The Bucks I saw made it worth it. The 2 mile swamp drag in pouring rain... 'nuff said.
