Rugged public piece
This always seemed like a pretty incredible piece of public in lacross county.I have never had the time to check it out. If i didnt have a lease i would most definetly take a look at it. I dont know how much its pressured, but you sure could get a long ways in there and probably away from most people. Any thoughts?

Wow! thats a great looking piece of ground right there! Tons of bedding and great hunting positions. Might be getting in and out of there in the dark though.

You really think it's worse than walking through a mile and a half of cattails in September.

There should be some awesome spots back in there. It looks pretty darn sweet! I like how there is some agriculture around the edges too.
I think I would rather walk the hill country.

You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Re: Rugged public piece
I would look for buck beds during spring scouting in the locations marked in red.

Re: Rugged public piece
Wow! Where are the designated parking areas? Is there a creek or pond there somewhere that is a water source for them? What time of year will you be scouting the tract?
