J hook
This is my first year beast hunting. Ive been able to locate a couple beds I think are dominant buck beds. I keep reading about setting up on the j hook to catch a buck entering in the morning. Is there a typical size? 10 yards? 30 yards? These beds are in hill country in fairly open hardwoods but the beds themself are thick blowdown type stuff.

It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid, than to open it an remove all doubt
