J hook

Unread postby Buckbreath » Fri Sep 15, 2017 12:38 pm

This is my first year beast hunting. Ive been able to locate a couple beds I think are dominant buck beds. I keep reading about setting up on the j hook to catch a buck entering in the morning. Is there a typical size? 10 yards? 30 yards? These beds are in hill country in fairly open hardwoods but the beds themself are thick blowdown type stuff.
