I recently built something similar out of thick plywood. Took about 30 mins if you are handy. It works perfect, lightweight, more 'airy' for hot weather and allows me to get stuff in and out of my pockets.

No chance I would ever spend that kind of money on a web or sling again.

Kind of like a OneHair seat?

Not sure. Saw it in an old thread couple years back from another forum.

I bought a aero hunter and used all of last season. I did 3 all day sits and was very comfortable. Getting used to setting up the system took a little practice. I love the mobility and weight the aero hunter provides. I harvested a doe and decent 10pt out of the saddle.

I went with the GW since I didn't have much previous saddle experience. I will say I feel very safe in it and it is extremely comfortable. Either system will allow you to hunt trees you can't with other stands and I think they are a very valuable tool. The decreased weight is appealing with the Aerohunter and maybe someday I will give it a try once I get more comfortable with this type of hunting. I will say I never even used my LW stand last year in favor the GW.

Any pics of your set up? I have been looking into doing the same.

Do you happen to have a copy of the instructional video that came with it? I can't find mine.

There is a newer version of the Guidos Web for sale now. Looks better suited for hunting in warmer weather.
