I recieved a permit for a public land hunt. The pressure is limited due to a lottery style tag. The stipulation is you have to check a doe in that zone in order to take a buck. From what I have heard the bucks are there and I am confident I can find them. Everyone mentions how hard it is to find the does. My question is, in this case where the does are pressured more so than surrounding area, will they seek out classic buck beds?
Dan, the white doe you took, did you notice anything particular about the way see bed relative to buck bedding?

Does in groups tend to bed differently than big bucks, solitary does, ore one or two, tend to bed like bucks. In areas where I have been required to harvest a doe before shooting a buck, I have done well shooting the does at food sources like acorns.

I had the white doe come out of buck bedding once, and doe bedding twice.
