Late season is my favorite time of the year. Too bad we have another antlerless slaughter coming up again.
Since I still have a gun buck tag left I will be using my muzzleloader this weekend and hunting with my bow the rest of the time after that.

The trouble with the Southern CWD units is that late season is almost one big gun season. The deer never get back on pattern.

I hear that man! You ever get bored of that and don't mind crossing river ice late December,I'd be willing to set you up on some really nice stuff where you will not see another human and there are some bruisers waiting to be had. But I'm taken you in there blindfolded 8-) ,lemme know.

Headed to northern WI tonight for a Saturday and Sunday bowhunt.

Don't own a muzzleloader so will be toting the bow in the woods along with my son who wants to go.

Have a spot picked out to sit on the ground which has been productive in the past for second season, hopefully a decent buck shows. My boy is all jacked up to don the snow camo and get up close and personel with one....fingers crossed the muzzleloader pressure is light. Bringing lots of hand warmers for him. 8-) Predicated N-E wind will be perfect.
