I know that in some places in the USA you can get theses books that show all public lands in the area, no matter how small, and also shows land boarders.
My question is, can you get theses books in Ontario Canada?
If so where could I start?

Re: Plat Books
Matbe try this link. They may or may not have Canadian plat books but could point you in the right direction.
http://www.clarksonmap.com/store/cart.php
Our plat plat books are for each individual county.....we may have 30-75 counties per state. Our states our similar to your providences.......
If that doesn't work, try your local court house. Again our county court house usually will plat books also. I apoligise but don't know if Canada has "counties" with-in your providences.

Re: Plat Books
Google a website called 39 degrees North, they have online, similar to google earth all the boundaries for particular counties....assuming they cover your county. If not the 39 degree north guys there may be others in your area....not sure but they cover a good bit of Indiana.

Re: Plat Books
contact the local government of the area you are looking and ask to speak to the mapping or tax records department or similar department.

Re: Plat Books
It seems the Ontario parcel database is easily accessed online.

Sounds similar to the GIS system a lot of the counties use here in the US.

Are you looking for crown land in ontario? Or are you looking for public land in the states?
