Milk weed
Hey does anyone have any of the milk weeds they can send me. I have no idea how to find them or what to look for when searching. I would love to give them a try this year.

Re: Milk weed
I've got a good supply. Pmeyers@charter.net or pm with your info. I watched a few in my flower bed all season. Carpenter bees and flies loved it. Now the flower is gone and I waiting for the pod to form.

Re: Milk weed
I had quite a bit growing around my new house. I thought about leaving them up just for hunting, but decided to pull them for aesthetics None of the pods had started forming. Only a couple had flowers.

Re: Milk weed
These plants are fairly tough to kill. I pulled mine a few years and they returned anyway. So I quit fighting them and will have a local supply for hunting.

Re: Milk weed
I have a mess of seed if anybody is interested in starting a patch for next year. plus I have 3 monster patches that are about half way through pod formation. Should be in business by mid August as far as harvest and drying. I picked enough last year to last me for 5 years.

Can you post a picture of what they look like right now? I have a weed growing next to my house that I haven't killed because I think it is milkweed.

Re: Milk weed
I have worked through my excess of seeds. One last contact (bonecrusher) will get a package until the pods start drying . Everyone has been very thankful and I'm glad to help.
I'm going to let this stuff fly this year.

Re: Milk weed
I pulled a couple pods yesterday, hoping it isn't to early but I need to to dry out before the season opener. I simply find if you leave the seeds in the pods they fly through the air so much easier.
