I use my chevy pick up with one of my old tool trailers...I can get into some pretty out of the way places...keep all of my hunting gear dry and locked up...and with a generator and air mattress it makes for a comfortable sleeping quarters.

I've been thinking about getting a used 4Runner. I think they would make a great run and gun vehicle. But I haven't decide for sure, yet.
What would y'all go with?
I have the 4 Runner with a V8 4wheel drive it's just perfect for hunting. I actually have the game carrier in the back and don't even hitch it unless I'm pulling a deer. No one knows I'm deer hunting. Very reliable, decent gas mileage, not too expensive either.

I've always thought a Subaru Outback would make a good hunting ride. Wish I had one, lol.

Had a few good hunting vehicles. Could haul alot
then I got this, feeling a bit greener and downsized
This one has been good, but diesel prices stink
so I got this beater jeep and Im starting to like it, just took it to the UP and back and great on trails, better than the 67 dump
does good on these
.
Not bad at carrying these
but you got to cut these
to this
to fit in there

I was surprised how much a chevy tracker could go through a couple weeks ago. Would have been nice if it had doors though. I took a video of the ride. http://youtu.be/tN5kKw11Emw

Good example of why you should ALWAYS take your buddies vehicle hunting or fishing.

I got an 03' Chevy ZR2 that has been pretty good to me. It's paid for and that is nice. I have finally retired it to "hunting only" so that helps keep mileage down.
