In a place like that the deer are going to bed so they can watch to the west for hunters.
Try to get in from the east or walk the creek on the north to the east.

I would probably pass on that property and look elsewhere. However, if there happened to be a reason I felt I had to hunt there it would probably be rut and probably be in the spots marked in red... If it was not rut, I would probably look for a south wind and walk the river I marked in yellow looking for bucks bedding in that woods heading north to crops and away from the public.

I would hunt the property when the crops are still in the fields early season. When those crops are gone it could be slim pickens.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Thank you for the replies and if I may ask why you picked the spots that you did I'm just trying to learn as much as I can. Also I found a rub line in the east side of the Property running around to the south side But no beds in that area

The red spots I picked are rut funnels where cruising bucks would go thru trying to stick with the cover.

What is the open field? Tall or shirt grass, if it's tall grass and weeds I take a look right in the middle of it.

Re: Would like to see how you guys would hunt this public la
This map had some features I think should have buck bedding. I circled the areas in red where bucks should be bedding.
On the rest of those maps, I would like to see a topo for the entire property. If the land is relitivly flat, I would concentrate on the transitions. Field edge meets timber / pines meet hard wood / thick meets thin / any vegetation edge

The topo tells me a lot about buck bedding there...
I color coded suspected bedding areas to match prefered wind directions bucks would bed there on.
South wind = red beds
West = purple beds
North = green
East = pink
