I completely respect your opinion on this but let me pose a few questions....................
If nobody said a word about these illegal stands on public land how would you feel if next year you went back to hunt that same public land and there were 20 more stands? Worse yet all of the stand owners would then tell you to move on because it is "their spot". How would you feel?
This is why the laws were originally written because a few took advantage of it and caused problems with other hunters. Public land is for everyone and nobody should be able to stake out a claim so to speak.

I agree with Dewey, the laws are there for a reason, to keep people from "claiming" spots. If someone has a stand out they naturally will think of it as "their spot" because they have a vested interest in it. There is no reason for anyone to leave them out anyways, there are so many options for nice stands out there even if people dont want to invest in the Lone Wolfs. The only positive is if they are not carrying their set-up in and out with them each night, they are probably not in the game anyway. I found a climber on public last saturday, had a tree umbrella blind on one side and a mock scrape made on the horse trail/road. I laughed when I saw it, there was no way they were going to be successful there, but I guess if they are having fun..... I set up 75 yards downwind and slightly uphill from him, and proceeded to see all the deer skirting him because they knew they were there.
