It seems like for every dollar that comes in three are going out lately. Some years are just like that, but it makes a guy feel a little anxious so I expect to be staying home in Michigan. I'll just be dreaming of going out of state this year and living it through you guys. Fortunately gogebicbuckslayer is going to hook me up with a place to get some doe meat. So I will be getting a private land a doe tag this year. :D

Funny, the day after posting that I received an invite to hunt 2 private farms! So I guess not all my hunting will be on public land!

Looks like just WI this year. Plan on checking out some new public land in counties that I normally don't hunt.

The plan is

Ontario with rifle - public big woods - with my dad.

MN with rifle on and off private land - the 'family' hunt.

If my wife or I don't fill one of our MN buck tags, the two of us will head to Superior Nat'l Forest with our muzzleloaders.

Some year I'd like to come join in the really late season WI buck hunt.

I shoot archery in 3D league but Ontario rifle has cut into my archery. Some day I'm hoping to line up a place to hunt near the Twin Cities so I can get my Mathews out in the woods again...

I'll be parked out in the Land Between the Lakes as much as possible.
