I just re read this thread. Things really played out well for me.....AT one point I was disgusted about the price of tags and points...........and I might have said I'm never going again......but I already think I changed my mind... :lol:

Deerslayer, I'm sorry if I missed it somewhere, but how did things in Iowa work out for you?

IA is WAY overpriced no doubt, but I will go at least once more just to burn my 4 points. I only live about an hour from my hunting area so that makes it a little easier to justify too. This allows me to go on day trips if need be.

Regardless of rack size Spy, that buck is a walking water heater, look at the head on that thing. He looks run down from rut a little, would be neat to see him about Oct 27-Nov3 before he starts losing the weight.
