Did I read right?...

Unread postby venisonassassin » Mon Jun 14, 2010 11:27 am

I was reading an article in the Wi Outdoor News about the proposed rule changes for this year and I'm pretty sure I read where they decided to allow hunters to cut their deer and bear etc. up into 5 pieces for removal from the field. It would be a nice option to have if it's true. Can anyone confirm this?

Yeah, I read the same thing, along with scopes with magnification being allowed during the muzzleloader season.
It sounded like a done deal but I can't find anything on the DNR website.

That could really help out sometimes dragging the deer out. I must of missed that in the WON Paper. If your cut your deer in half which half you drag out first?
