Goose Lake Wildlife Area

Anyone ever hunt here? Any luck or good sign? I'm going to go scout it in about an hour to see if its worth my time this year!

Looks like it could hold some SLOBS!

Theres a trail that goes right through the middle. Not just hunters but dog walkers and what not real heavily. Runs north south then east west about 2/3 the way through the property.

my first ever anti's encounter happened here. followed me down the trail for 15 minutes yelling and blowing whistles. then they turned back and i got worried they would vandalize my vehicle so i also turned back to be greated by them cheering in the parking lot like they had won. this was 20+ years ago.

Wow, that is unfortunate.

Isnt it possible for one to get in legal trouble for interfering with a legal hunt?

Harassment?

Would this be a good situation to contact the authorities?

What they deserve is a but kicking, but the wise thing to do is call the warden. I believe they can be fined for hunter harassment.

well i definitely underestimated the terrain! :naughty: it looks like this place could be a diamond in the rough! going back tomorrow with some waders this time... it seems like there is plenty of land that no half A$$ hunter would dare trying to walk through, and that is exactly where im going to go :L: sure wish the temp would drop down to like 40 degrees cuz i was sweating like a sieve today!
