do you use a light for hunting safety?

I use a light on public, but not on my private land areas.

It depends on how much hunting pressure I find in the area.

I hunt on my cousins private, 70 acres surrounded by 1000. Don't use one there but at the public nearby, reading the posts, will use one from now on. Don't want the "crazy" factor to ruin the rest of my life. Probably use white to walk in for the most part, switch to red in the brush for the final approach to my stand site. I don't worry about white, was walking in to a remote site and flashed a doe, she just sat there looking until I walked too close.
