Find the food in your area and when/how the deer transition through each one...make note's and study map's. Doe's leave a ton of sign, find where they bed and they will show you the hot food source.
Dont just make note of WHERE you see beds, rubs, scrapes, trails, deer....ask your self WHY its there.
Deer hunting is just plain old common sense. I learned more about hunting my first two years in the field, then I learned in 25 years of reading mag's, books, the net and watching videos.
Great post Ninja- I think a lot of hunters either don't take it seriously enough and fail to apply common sense, or they make it WAY TOO complicated and create their own trouble. For me, it was both!
