This seems like a great rut spot. I see a couple beautiful saddles and pinch points that would make great late October and November all day sits. The bedding for this area should be pretty predictable also. If someone else hasn't by tomorrow I'll give it a go, it's a little hard to mark up on my iPad.

I like the bottom left, top third of that knoll. Its away from the trails and parking areas.

Re: How to scout/hunt areas like this?
I'm no expert but this is what I see. Bedding in blue, rut in red. I didn't hit all of them but just the ones I see here. The one I starbursted is a dynamite spot no matter what time of year, they will be forced to go through there due to the steep edge then I would assume bedding is right there also where I marked it. Just a lot of good things going on there.
I'm also assuming a SW or West prevailing wind which is what I get here.
Thoughts anyone?

Something else I'd like to point out about this area. There are a lot of steep ridges, from what I've seen they will follow the edge of a drop off just like it was a transition line (pretty much is). These are good places to hunt.

You may want to get on google earth and look at the most recent date stamped aerials. Recent clear cuts are easily identifiable. Just another piece to the puzzle.

A lot of good terrain there, i feel like all the trails and parking spots kind of hurt some of it..id check close to the parking areas maybe overlooked

Since you mentioned there is a lot of hiking/camping I would rely on looking for a ridge that overlooks or is upwind of a trail. That ridge marked in blue just North of West Road looks like a prime candidate for some boot leather.
