You must be talking the mini-sticks? I wouldn't recommend those. There was some kick out issues in testing so Andrea was reluctant to market them ( another guys idea ) But the new owners ran with it...Also just go ahead and get 6 sticks to start.

Re: Fastest Treestand System To Hang???
Dan I am 6' tall...how high do you think I can get with just 3 sticks?
Also will the cart give me a shipping total before completion to 48827?
I would get 4... I sometimes use 5. You need at least for to get up to the 18 to 20 foot range.
I sent you a PM on the shipping...

Ken I have 5 on my main stand all the time. Sometimes I leave one or two at the bottom of the tree, but they are pricless when you need the extra one.

Re: Fastest Treestand System To Hang???
Dan, I will place an order with you Friday morning for the 4 pack and then probably order another single in December.
I think I am going to put the new Summit Viper SD up for sale and then get the LoneWolf hangon. I get seem to get around making to much noise with the cables when I am setting up and more than once I didn't get the bottom cable length right and that one I can't seem to adjust in the tree...the top is no problem at all....

No the full sized sticks. This way you can set the stand 25 feet up and be able to step down onto it for additional safety. Doesn't take anytime to put up 6 sticks.

BTW I have 30. 3 preset with 6 sticks and 2 6stick floaters.
I do at least 3 presets though so I need them.

Here on the public if you're 18 feet you get picked off by the yearlings.

Dan, does 5 sticks get a little tricky to walk through the woods with? I have hunted with 4 sticks on my stand/back for the past 5 years and occasionally they'll snag on something and tip off the stack (super annoying) I would think 5 would be even more prone to this.
I do like the idea of 5 sticks. I always like to step down to my stand. Sometimes, especially now when the leaves are down, I'm really stretching out that 4th stick and hugging the tree while stepping down on to my stand. I always try to tether in before stepping on to my stand. I figure one of these years something is going to let go on my old L/W Alpha when I step on to it and I'll be glad I tethered in. Replaced my stand straps this year btw, I think they were fine, but starting to get frayed on the edges in spots. I could see that being a good spot for a tear to start.

When I stack my sticks, I turn them upside down so they do not stick up above the stand. This will elimanate the stacking sticks from snagging.

James,
iT DON'T SEEM MUCH WORSE THAN 4 STICKS.. They do occasionally get snagged but I am pretty carfull of that and use more bungees than you would think needed to really lock it together solid.
