Traditional. Momentum Is the key with me, not KE. If I shot a compound I'd be shooting a heavy arrow too. Something In that 600 grain range.

I shoot rages with a bow madness xl 70# 30-1/2 draw with a 374 gram arrow and I avoid the shoulder like the plague! Its not looking good for the rage on this post.

p.s. I don't care for the drury brothers to much just got a good deal on the bow.
I'm More lucky than good.

I don't see it as a bunch of people disliking people who use a different type of broadhead... I never see threads where people complain about slick tricks, muzzys, or snuffers not working...
I just hear complaits about a certain group of products that has known issues... I also never heard of an outfitter banning the use of fixed head broadheads...
Yes, shot placment is the key. But one type of broadhead misleads people into beleaving that if they shoot there product they will kill them even better. If you hit them where your supposed to, most of the time any broadhead will work and have a fine blood trail. But its a fact, that rage and other mech's have issues with quartering angles and forward hits.

shoot what ever you want. i dont know why some rage lovers try pushing the idea that rage heads are the best thing since sliced bread. kind of like the bible bangers pushing there beliefs on you, like yours arent good enough. if you have to constantly be pushing thoughts into someones head to get them to belive something is not right. fact is rage can fail. anything machanical can and probally will at some point. i have used rage before with mixed results. went back to muzzy MX4. the only failure i have had with muzzy was with the opperator. if you like rage shoot em, if you dont then dont.
