My first with a Bow

Unread postby TreeRat » Tue Oct 25, 2011 10:57 am

I am only posting this because it was my First with a V Bow and I went into this WMA blind on a guest pass. The two other hunters with me went for the creek bottom, the other went for and area with a lot of small fields and a pond kind of a choke point I went for the hard woods.
I really need to work on my tree stand skills got busted 3 times( Big Doe 1, (Nice Buck twice)
I thought this one was a Doe that came through earlier. This is a case of ground Shrinkage when I walked up on the Deer its not a doe its a button buck and yes it small but its my first one with a Bow and I went in blind. My friend made me put a leashes on Him.
I will put in for a pass for next year and maybe get a Better one.

Congratulations.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
