Weather forecast for Halloween weekend
I couldn't believe when I saw the weather forecast for Halloween weekend in Southern WI. They are saying possibly high's in the low 40's , maybe high 30's..... If that don't get those big bucks going, nothing will.... super excited right now ! It is suppose to really drop off like next wednesday, the 26th.

Re: Weather forecast for Halloween weekend
Sounds great to me. My vacation starts then until Nov. 10th. I plan on many all day sits and have been worried about a warm up. Hopefully the cool down is true but without the strong winds we have had lately.

Brandon....
Can you elaborate on this ? I thought the red moon was suppose to be when you have a moon overhead or underfoot during the last days of October ? I don't see that happening until Oct 31st, Nov 1st and 2nd.... but maybe I don't understand it correctly ?????

Wow a forecast like that really adds to the anticipation of hunting. I will be hunting west central wis starting the 25th. Lot easier to stay in the tree for longer sits with cold weather.

The first full day of my 3 week rut hunt is the 26th, I will be pulling an all dayer in my best funnell between doe bedding areas if the wind is good. I am PUMPED.

Extended forecast is looking better everytime I look.
Highs in the mid 40's and lows in the low 30's late next week. Just what we need (without the wind)!

Hope those forecasts hold true.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Re: Weather forecast for Halloween weekend
I just checked it today and the cold temps are gone. I hate the extended forecast, hopefully it changes again.
