How did the turnip taste? I ate one too, kinda bitter at the end... looks great! How many acres did you plant? Cant wait to see the deer go crazy on these brassica plots in the next 1-3 weeks... bring on the cold weather :L:

The turnips are pretty good, a little sweet. Ate a plate of them sliced with salt for breakfast. The radishes are a little hot, but not to bad.

The plot in the pic is between an 1/8 acre and a 1/4... We have one more plot that is about 20 X 30 feet

The turnips I use in this mix have a very high sugar content. If someone else in the area plants turnips I want the deer to prefer what is in my mix. You never know when you might have to out compete someone else in the area. ;)

P.S. Dan used the Brassica Buffet mix.
