i stayed home for the bears/packers game. it was raining most of the day and didnt think it would stop. didnt rain a drop after 4pm. i was mad i didnt go out hunting. i will always choose hunting over the game.

I did the same thing for that game too and regretted it later. Also took Oct. 2nd off to go to the Packers/Broncos game. Its rare that I give up a day of hunting for a football game but later I was glad I did because my wife and I had a blast at the game. Rodgers was on fire with 4 TD passes and 2 rushing TD's!!

Otherwise I am fine and don't mind missing games the rest of the season. I record the game and pretend I am watching it live when I get home. The main reason I like to get out hunting then is because hunting pressure is noticeably much lower during a game on public land.

I listen to the games in the stand on my little mp3 player, I never miss a game. It's the best of both worlds.

I like watching the Packers, but hunting trumps the game.

I love to watch the Packers but if I have the chance I will be up in a tree instead of watching them.

Bowhunting trumps packers...

It sure is nice to have the whole woods to yourself when a packer game is on though! 8-)

Hunting over the game... but sometimes it is a hard choice... but I usually DVR the game and watch it later. I hunted the wildcard game during the 2010 season Packers Vs. Cardinals...(the game of the year) it was -10 F... saw only a few deer... should of watched the game... but it was the last hunt of the year.

For the Michigan guys... now that the Lions are roaring back... is it harder to hunt during the game? You had nearly ten years of not having to worry about hunting over the game....
