Average Deer Per Sit

In your neck of the woods. How many deer to you see on an average sit?

this totaly depends on what time of year it is early sesaon 1-2 deer mostly one if im huntin bedds

come the rut theres no tellin what and how many ill see in a day i think the most ive seen in one day was the season of 08

nov 8 i seen 13 differnt deer 8 were bucks the rest does ..best year i ever had ..i mean they could of been some of the same deer

last season I counted 23 different does in one sitting. That was crazy a big 0 on bucks though.

Mostly 2 to 3 for me around home, but if I hunt the northern part of the state usually around 6 to 7.

right around 0.5

last season i saw about 0.45 deer per hour

I never really count does & fawns. I don't count buttons as bucks. The best that I can remember from last year my worst day for seeing bucks was 7 one day and the best day was 23 bucks. I can only estimate on does but would guess around 50-60 on the best day and 20-25 on the worst day. This would be on my home farm. On my river bottom spot (flooded out 3 years in a row) my best day was 1 buck and 3 does was my best. On my hill country ground my best day was 1 buck and 4 does.

Im averaging 1 in the morrning and 6 in the evening so far this year. Seems in the early season in WEst Wisconsin morning hunts produce little deer activity and evenings are dynomite. Then it is reversed once late october and November come. Anyone else notice this trend? Thats why I love morning Rut hunts.

BTW If you are hunitng a specific target buck all you need to see is 1 deer!

I probably average 1-2 deer a sit, that number could be much higher but when you hunt bedding areas on public land it kind of goes with the territory.

We've got a ton of doe's around, one tag area. I'll see on average 4 to 5 deer a sit.

6 on average, But I have seen up to 30+ deer in one al day sit.
