Tough one to age...

Unread postby ah110 » Sat Oct 08, 2011 1:05 pm

Hey guys, wondering if you could help me edge this buck ive nicknamed Clinton (hes in the same town as the clintons). I got a couple pictures of him last year (summer and early fall) and thought he was only 3.5. Never saw him all season and thought he was dead.

This year he looks alot older. Looks like he grew bigger brows and mass but lost a couple overall inches.

Hes an awesome buck and would die to get an opportunity at him this season

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Not sure of the age, but why are those hardwoods dropping apples?

And is that a ground blind in the background?
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

I would put him at 4.5 yrs old. He has full front and rear hips, sagging belly, but his back seems to be fairly flat still. Looks like a big bodied stud for sure!

Judging by his sagging belly and his back. 4.5-5.5
If you want to kill a deer you have to be in the woods.
