That rope system is actually my design. Regardless of it's functionality, you will NOT beat the quietness of a Lone Wolf - no matter what you do. Castings are king!

I worked with LW years ago when Andrae owned the company. Then worked with Muddy on a few projects a couple years ago. Now I'm back where I belong working with Lone Wolf baby!

Through it all, I never quit using LW stands, they are the only stand I'll use! Dead freaking quiet, and the easiest set-up's of any!

What parts of the LW stand did you design? I was of the belief Andre was the main player behind all of LW

Muddy makes a good stand. I have one of their earlier models and am pleased with it. However its nowhere near the stand that my LW is. The LW system is alot more mobil. Plus I remember hearing serval complaints about LW being made in China, when to my knowledge Muddy has been made in China the whole time. Now LW is back to being made here in the good Ol US of A and while money is tight for me and most Americans Ill support the boys who put jobs and production here. Because, when its made in America its one of, if not the best products in the world! Even if I got to eat a little PB&J for lunch a few weeks to save up the extra $. Now if Muddy is now made in America PLEASE CORRECT me. IMO for hang on stands Muddy is 2nd and exceeds other manufactors but its a distance 2nd to Lone Wolf.

Agreed completely....and yes every Muddy stand I have bought has made in China on it.

Yes, Muddy is made in China. In my experience using a Muddy (which was 1 hunt), it was not quiet. I'll not use any fabricated stand after using a LW cast stand for roughly 16 years now. There is a night and day differance in the noise and ease of hanging. I typically hang a cameraman stand before each hunt, so I reallly/really have hung these things enough to where I can and do in the dark all the time - in complete silence except for a little bark noise which doens't spook animals. Actually, the first LW I ever bought was used in a hunt this past weekend. Dallas was hunting from it (I was filming), and 16 years later, it's still silent!

I designed the original Assault Casting, both small and large seat castings, the Assassin stand (my buddy Brad's actual concept, I just desiged the system), The hand climber seat casting, the Camera arm casting, and LOBO casting too. I also did a bunch of of random component parts design for them as well. I didn't invent the stuff though, in alot of cases, I just updated the designs and made improvements from various feedback / instruction. Not trying to make it sound like I invented LW, because if I did I'd probably be hunting better property! he he he.... :D

You don't make any real money designing / engineering for companies. I basically did it to get product and pay a few for some of my hunting expenses. The entire time I've been planning on doing my own product line, which is now called Wicked Tree Gear. Until you own it, you can't control it. Now I'm hoping to actually make some money from my designs!
